Death in Vienna

It's 1949 and crime writer Polly Kirton has travelled to Vienna following the murder of her old friend, Larry Heinze. As she unravels the mystery of Heinze's death, Polly becomes increasingly embroiled within the elite circles of post war Viennese society. 

Just as she believes that she has uncovered Heinze's killer, another body is found and a new murder has to be solved.

Spy rings, secret societies and conspiracies abound in this gripping murder mystery event.

 

DEATH AND DENIAL 

It's 1925 and archaeologist and Egyptologist, Lady Cecilia Kirton, has returned home to the West Country with her latest discovery, a pricelss artefact, recently unearthed in the Valley of the Kings..

The upper-echelons of local society gather for a celebratory meal to welcome Lady Kirton home, unaware that jealousy lurks, deceit lingers and an ancient curse is about to strike.

Amongst the distinguished guests gathered are Lady Kirton's disreputable husband, Sir Charles Kirton, fellow Egyptologist and socialite, Clarissa Cowley and intrepid local newpaper reporter, Dorothy Digby.

Also on hand is Mid-Devon's finest gentleman detective, Hector Harbottle.

It's 1955 and it's cabaret night at the Simpkins Holiday Camp, where there will be singing, dancing and comedy, as well as the weekly Knobbly Knees Contest and Glamorous Ganny Competition. There will also be an unexpected death and a murder to solve.

The Quick Trigger Quizzers are triumphantly returning to Quiz Night in their home town, having recently won the Grand Final of the prestigious TV Quiz Show, Brain Boxes. Despite this famous victory, all is not harmonious within the Quick Trigger team and at least one team member will get a nasty shock when they put their finger on their buzzer!

 

Watson in Devon - A Sherlockian Murder Mystery

1901. Dr John Watson, is visiting the West Country literary scene to give readings from his latest memoir, The Hound of the Baskerville. Sherlock Holmes, the hero of the narrative, has been unable to make the trip, but once a diamond is stolen and a body is found, who knows, perhaps the great detective will put in an appearance.
