Summer Improvisation Workshops 🌞

A fun and supportive introduction to the art of improvisation for dramatic and comedic performance 🎭

Through games and structured activities, participants will learn to think on their feet, spark creativity, and build confidence on stage.

The workshops will be run by experienced actors and improv artists Chris Brooks and Gemma Silk.

Although there are many words that could be used to describe Sir Charles Kirton — including cad, bounder, rake, scoundrel, and scamp — none of them do justice to his lecherous and dastardly nature. Married to the renowned archaeologist Lady Cecilia Kirton, he is as reliable as a broken clock and as coarse as a hare in spring. Despite being classically trained and Oxford-educated, the class that Sir Charles exudes is dangerously thin.

The sun is shining and the Flying Trunk is officially airborne.

Our debut dinner theatre event, Death on the Creedy, was a fantastic success. We’ve been overwhelmed by the generosity of the feedback from those who joined us. Creating something joyful, uplifting, and entertaining is at the heart of our mission—and we want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along and contributed to its success.

This month, we return to The Elephant on the Green with something completely different:
Captain Kirton’s Comedy Cabaret — a bold, original show packed with stand-up, sketches, and improvisation. Expect the funny, the thought-provoking, and the utterly absurd in a high-octane night of comedy that promises big laughs and boundless energy.

Later in June, we’re Chagford-bound for our next immersive murder mystery:
Death on the Teign, a dinner theatre experience filled with twists, secrets, and scandal—served alongside a delicious three-course meal courtesy of Henry’s Kitchen Catering Services.

And that’s not all! There are plenty of exciting things on the horizon this month.
